Racing into the new Millennium
For many reasons, there’s never been a better time than now to be a racehorse owner in Australia. From prize money, whether it be new concept races, or the increase in stake-money across the board, to accessibility of the best horses, the best horse people and the best facilities, to transparency and integrity – all of which contribute to what can be the most enjoyable, and unique, experience.
Something we will shortly be experiencing for the first time is the $2 million Inglis Millennium at Warwick Farm today. This is the inaugural running of a race for 2 year-olds that have been purchased from an Inglis sale, very much in the format of the Magic Millions.
We are thrilled to have a runner in this event with BISCARA. She is actually the least expensive horse to run in this race at $42,000 (others range up to $750,000) and is the highest-earning horse from last year’s Inglis Classic Sale so far. Biscara very much represents what we are trying to achieve at JHB Syndications – value fillies with the physical make up to perform at the highest level.
The JHB colt syndicate will be represented in the $1m 3yo Inglis Sprint with SPIN, who resumes from a spell after mixing it with some nice horses last preparation. The team also have promising 2yo AUSSIE running in the Blue Diamond Prelude at Caulfield, so it promises to be a busy day for the green & gold silks. Good luck to connections of all runners.
If you’re going to be attending the Inglis Classic Sales, we’d love to catch up with you. Feel free to touch base anytime via email or on 0437 773 346.
