Black type for Biscara on debut

The rich form of the JHB Syndications three-year-olds carried over into our first 2YO runner of the year this weekend as Rubick filly Biscara claimed a brave second in the Listed Debutant Stakes at Caufield.

Prepared by the Lindsay Park team, Biscara had been showing great ability in her track work, and brought this to race day in no uncertain terms. She was very unlucky not to have been a lot closer the the winner, Spirit of Boom filly Champagne Boom (see our Spirit of Boom filly with shares available at by CLICKING HERE). At the 250m Biscara was knocked absolutely sideways, before picking herself up and running on strongly through the line.

A $42,000 Inglis Classic purchase, Biscara will now head to the $500,000 Inglis Banner over 1000m on 27th October, where her owners will have the great thrill of watching her bid for glory on the same day that Winx will attempt and unprecedented fourth Cox Plate victory.

Congratulations to owners Love Racing, Mr J McCusker, White House Thoroughbred Racing, G1G Racing & Breeding, Mr D Healey, Mr S J Murray, Mrs L M Murray, Mr B T Ireland, Mrs P Ireland.
